Christine Kunigonis

Christine Kunigonis is a certified public accountant with deep expertise in nonprofit finance and operations.

She has built her career supporting mission-driven, youth-serving organizations, beginning at the Congressional Youth Leadership Council, which convenes educational leadership conferences for students nationwide. She later joined a public accounting firm focused exclusively on nonprofit organizations, where she began supporting Truth Initiative Foundation as a client.

At Truth Initiative, Kunigonis leads the development and stewardship of financial policies, internal controls, and accounting operations. She partners with the CFIO and leadership team on strategic planning, budgeting, and financial reporting, and advises on the financial, tax, and regulatory implications of new initiatives. She oversees preparation of the organization’s IRS Form 990 and manages the annual audit and financial statement process.
