Christine Kunigonis

Christine Kunigonis is a certified public accountant who specializes in nonprofit organizations.

At Truth Initiative, she sets forth financial policies and procedures for the organization. As she oversees day-to-day business operations, Kunigonis ensures the organization uses its resources effectively to achieve a culture where all youth and young adults reject tobacco.

Kunigonis joined Truth Initiative in 2001. She first learned about the organization when Truth Initiative was a client during her tenure at Langan Associates, an accounting firm that focuses solely on nonprofit organizations.

Kunigonis’ career in nonprofit accounting includes a commitment to youth-serving organizations. Her first position was with Congressional Youth Leadership Council, a nonprofit that hosts educational leadership conferences for outstanding young people from communities across the U.S.
