​Truth Initiative offers grants and scholarships to support action on the ground, including opportunities for colleges and universities to adopt tobacco-free campus policies and for students and young people to continue to take action in their communities. Tobacco/Vape-Free College Program

The Truth Initiative Tobacco/Vape-Free College Program is offering grants of up to $20,000 to colleges and universities to support the adoption and implementation of a 100% tobacco/vape-free policy. Grantees of the Tobacco/Vape-Free College Program receive guidance through webinars, an in-person training and one-on-one consultations throughout the grant period. Since 2015, the Tobacco/Vape-Free College Program has provided funding to more than 200 colleges, universities and college systems to advocate for and adopt a 100% tobacco-free policy.

Clear the Air Tennessee

Truth Initiative will award approximately six grants of up to $2,000 each to engage youth and young adults (ages 15-24) to educate local businesses about the importance of smoke-free air and encourage voluntary adoption of smoke-free policies by businesses and public spaces. Youth-serving nonprofits and government entities (e.g., health departments, high schools, colleges) located in Tennessee are eligible to apply.

Impact Scholarship

Truth Initiative empowers and enables young people to be change-makers in their communities — but we know not everyone who has the power to make change has the resources. The truth Impact Scholarship is awarding one $10,000 and one $5,000 scholarship to two people as a kickstart toward shaping their futures and reaching their goals.Impact Scholarship winners will work with truth to inspire others to take action and be part of our movement of ending tobacco use for good.
