Giana Darville is a native of Memphis, Tennessee who recently graduated from Oakwood University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations. She has received awards and recognition from the PR Council, The LAGRANT Foundation, the Public Relations Society of America, PR Week, and other industry organizations for her contributions to enhancing diversity and inclusion in the field of public relations.
In 2019, Darville executed an original public health project as a truth® ambassador and interned for Apple’s public relations team as an Apple HBCU Scholar. Since then, Darville has interned for Burson Cohn & Wolfe Global’s Public Affairs and Crisis practice as a HAROLD intern, while raising awareness about tobacco and nicotine issues among young people as both a trainer and marketer for Truth Initiative. Darville is also proud to work toward increased diversity and equity in the medical field as the Communications Director for Greater Influence, a student-run nonprofit organization.
Darville has served on the board of directors since 2020.
