Senior Vice President, Community and Youth Engagement

Truth Initiative

bio

With more than two decades of experience in public health advocacy and education, Amy Taylor leads the community and youth engagement team as senior vice president. Her background in engaging and organizing young adults and building coalitions is critical to Truth Initiative’s work extending the reach of its community-level programs and fostering change in communities most impacted by tobacco use.

Prior to joining Truth Initiative, Taylor worked at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, most recently as the chief external affairs officer. Over the course of her career, she built a national young adult advocacy network, worked with state chapters to engage African American and Latina youth and doubled the organization’s presence on college campuses.

Taylor previously worked with political and public affairs consulting firms with a focus on legislative affairs and government relations, and as a researcher with the non-profit Center for Responsive Politics.
